Why work on projects anyway?
Why do we head out to the shop, sit down at the workbench and occasionally splash hot solder on ourselves? Well, we could get all pious, and paraphrase President Kennedy:
"We choose to work on these projects, not because they are easy, but because they are hard; because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone."
But in reality, it's just huge fun, and let's face it, pulling off a difficult project is more satisfying than doing something easy, like playing with our phones.
